HLA Does Uni - Lacie and Tara

Welcome to Foxbury! This rotation is probably shorter than the last, because about halfway through I realised I was really struggling to get the girls to their classes on time and ended up buckling down to try and fix that.

Again, quick recap on their degrees; Tara is doing a distinguished computer science degree, and Lacie is doing the distinguished biology degree! They both got in on scholarships; Tara's being the esports and Lacie's being the soccer team.

They're also doing three classes per term, just to keep things even.

I plopped these two into the lilsimsie reno of Maritime Manor, and I'll give you two guesses as to which side of the room belongs to whom.

Tara immediately gets down to working on her presentation; she's got a presentation and two term papers this rotation, I believe.

Lacie's priorities are a little more lax, and they are playing juice pong with a roommate and playing keepie-uppie on the balcony.

I also send these two down onto the main campus in the hopes that it would be a little more exciting than Britechester. It wasn't, really, but there were more people around, so a partial success?

With two social sims it was a tad more interesting as they actually interacted with other sims and not just each other. Tara took to the Foxbury cheer for some reason, but who can judge her.

I'm not sure what Lacie was doing at this point (probably soccer practice), but I sent Tara off to the Foxbury commons (which is... terrifyingly lit) to get in some studying, but she was interrupted by the mixer, so abandoned her studies to go and socialise.

There were a bunch of students from both Unis, which makes sense given that it's a mixer, so she gets a lot of social time in.

Sunday morning has Lacie doing a first run through on her presentation, while Tara sleeps off her previous night of drinking.

Eventually Tara wakes up and decides to play video games, and Lacie heads out for a swim.

She's a lot more outgoing and energetic than her housemates, which is surprising to exactly nobody, but does make for some interesting moments when she tries to socialise with a room of sleeping sims.

Sunday evening, I decide to give the two bros the true bro experience, and send them down to the nightclub.

A special someone turns up on the lot as well, despite not being a university student, and Lacie almost immediately beelines towards her.

Again.

The club was pretty dead, although I did get Lacie and Tara to attempt a keg stand? The keyword here is attempt, because Tara dropped her almost immediately after I took this picture.

When Lacie's out at soccer practise, I usually take that time to mess about with Tara; I'm never really sure what to do with her, but playing about with the science equipment in the commons space is usually what she gets up to.

She still has her eSports team membership at this point, so she's also often out with her team - I'm not sure what happened, but come her second Uni rotation she's somehow dropped out of the team, but still has the scholarship.

Poor Lacie always finishes her soccer practise exhausted and stinking the place up. It's about all I can manage to corral her back home and into a shower, before she falls into bed.

She's also a big fan of whipping out the Foxbury football she pinched off the campus at the initial welcome party while hanging around between classes.

At one point Jade stopped by the house, and the two of them played football for a while before Lacie had to run off for a match.

After which she was clearly so desperate to get home and shower, that she rode her bike all the way into the bathroom. As one does.

I have no idea what Tara was doing for those last few days; I think this was the point I started having a meltdown about realising they were perpetually late to class and that I found it almost impossible to actually get them there on time without teleporting them over.

Unfortunately, because of that issue they don't have stellar grades this term - I think they each got at least one D, so I'm going to have to properly knuckle down with them next rotation to make sure they pull their grades up!
